FACTORY INSTALLED PICKUPS: This cajon comes equipped with internal Piezo pickups, allowing you to control volume and tone through a PA system or amplifier. Easily boost your sound in any venue and fine-tune your tone.

WHY IT MATTERS: Traditional cajons aren't naturally loud, making it challenging to be heard in larger settings. These pickups significantly increase the volume, ensuring your sound cuts through the mix.

HOW IT WORKS: The walnut playing surface produces deep bass and crisp snare tones. Striking the middle gives you a rich bass sound, while the left and right sides produce snare tones.

GO DEEPER: The Baltic birch resonating body features a large forward-facing bass port, projecting your sound toward your audience. This delivers fuller low-end tone and excellent projection.

OF NOTE: The pickups don't require batteries, just plug into an amp or PA with a quarter-inch cable, and adjust the dials for optimal sound. (Cable not included.)

ZOOM IN: There are two dials and two quarter-inch jacks. Use the SNARE and BASS dials to mix your tone, and the OUTPUT jack to send your signal to an amp or PA. Additional pickup instruments from Meinl can be linked through the cajon's system.

BY THE NUMBERS: This Slaptop Cajon measures 18 1/2" long x 9 1/2" wide x 14 1/4" tall, and weighs 9 lbs. Its large size provides ample volume for any room and approximates the sound of a traditional cajon.
