WHY IT MATTERS: Pepote=true craftsmanship. He has tested countless wood combinations and varnishes, designed special unbreakable snare strings, and crafted baffles and pop filters. Everything he does focuses on achieving the perfect sound.

TONEWOODS USED: The cajon features a 7-ply Baltic birch body and limba frontplate. This combination offers a rich, punchy, and balanced tone. Baltic birch, used in high-end drum sets, ensures exceptional sound quality.

DRIVING THE SNARE SOUND: Inside the cajon, two sets of custom, hand-wound micro-coiled steel strings are fixed across the frontplate. These strings are pre-tuned for a sensitive touch and won't need adjustment.

ZOOM IN: The cajon is rounded at the corners and sanded to form thumb notches for natural hand contact, enhancing comfort and control.

LOOKING UNDERNEATH: Four silicone feet keep the cajon stable on any surface, whether wood, laminate, carpet, brick, or concrete. These feet ensure the cajon's sound is clear and unmarred by vibrations.
