The Mein Cajon preamp is a robust Cajon pickup/preamp that can be tuned to the particular sound characteristics of any Cajon. Use the phase switch to change the overall timbre. Placing the transducer on the inside top panel of your Cajon near the playing surface results in the best sound. A tone control with a wide range allows you to find your perfect mix of bass and treble.

Expand your Cajon options – sometimes you need a little boost of volume during Cajon gigs - with the Mein Cajon preamp, you can easily dial-in volume and tone to fill larger venues with the right mix of sound. Fits most cajons with easy installation – simply slide the control panel into the sound port cut out of your Cajon, which is typically a standard industry size – USE the included 3M adhesive pads to mount the transducer on the inside top panel.

Volume, Tone and phase switch – Start finding your mix by setting the right volume level, then use the tone knob to get the perfect balance of bass and Treble – the phase switch changes to overall timbre of your Cajon. Great alternative to microphones – with the Meinl Cajon preamp, you have all the capabilities of a mini sound board right at your fingertips while playing on stage – great for dialing down unwanted overtones or turning up the bass on the spot.
